Ōtautahi Christchurch is one of only five Antarctic Gateway cities in the world, and takes great pride in its unique connection to the southernmost continent on Earth. This special relationship is celebrated through the Days of Ice festival, which features over 40 events and activities spanning 18 days in October. ChristchurchNZ was responsible for creating the identity behind this festival, which is an opportunity for visitors and locals to learn about the city's rich Antarctic history and culture.
